About the Role
We are seeking a Physiotherapist with strong clinical skills and an interest in neurological physiotherapy to join our Physiotherapy team based out of Royal Rehab Ryde. LifeWorks Ryde supports clients by providing therapy services onsite and in the community. The Ryde campus has a state‑of‑the‑art advanced technology centre in which the team provides innovative therapy using robotic technology. The successful applicant will work within a multi‑disciplinary team with a client‑focused and goal‑centred framework, working primarily with adult clients with neurological conditions and/or complex disabilities both onsite at Ryde and in the community.
The successful applicant will be offered excellent professional development support, a work phone, laptop and access to fleet vehicles for work related travel.
Key Responsibilities
* Provision of high‑quality, evidence‑based physiotherapy interventions based on sound clinical reasoning following comprehensive assessment.
* Provision of clinical supervision for allied health assistants.
* Supervision of physiotherapy students.
* Contribution to the clinical education of self and others, including students.
* Maintain and encourage an evidence‑based approach to practice.
Essential Criteria
* Unrestricted registration with AHPRA.
* Experience working with clients with a neurological disability, ideally both in an outpatient setting and the community.
* Hydrotherapy experience with a competent level of swimming to support clients in water.
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
* Demonstration of effective multidisciplinary teamwork.
* Sound time‑management and organisational skills.
* Demonstrated evidence of relevant professional development and commitment to evidence‑based practice.
* Current unrestricted C‑class driver's licence, good driving record and own car.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience working with persons with permanent disability.
* Experience with NDIS, LTCS/iCare and other compensable clients including reports.
