**Food & Beverage Team Leader**
**About us**
Central Cucina Brasserie & Stone Lounge Bar located within Club Central Hurstville is a modern food and beverage outlet that offers fresh new food & beverages like some of the favourites as well as some more exclusive offerings. Our own in house pastry chefs make delicious desserts and the menu changes seasonally to surprise and delight our customers.
**About the role**
We are seeking a passionate and driven individual who is hungry for career progression and wants to take on the role of Food and Beverage Team Leader. You will be responsible for leading a team with a hands-on approach. You will support the floor team with the daily operation of Central Cucina Brasserie and Stone Lounge Bar.
**Duties**
Reporting to the F&B Guest Experience Manager, this is a hands-on and fast-paced role that will see you supporting the Central Cucina and Stone Bar team ensuring we create unique experiences for our guests.
- Leading from the front, participating in operational requirements of the department including opening and closing of the venue, taking, and delivering food & beverage orders, preparing, and serving beverages
- Overseeing lunch and dinner trade; ensuring Restaurant and Bar brand standards are maintained and carried out
- Provide hands on support to the floor team
- Assisting in training and coaching of the food & beverage team
- Elevate staff morale & offer prospect for career progression and growth
- Assisting with rostering and overall coordination
- Cash handling and register operation
- Handling guest inquiries and complaints in a genuine and professional manner
- Liaising with the Kitchen team to ensure the highest standard of food quality and visual appeal is followed through
**Skills & Experience**
- Must have 2 years' experience in managing and leading a team within a Food and Beverage environment
- Must be a positive, supportive and ambitious leader that can coach, develop and train team members
- Must be able to demonstrate different ways in amplifying the guest experience
- Extensive knowledge of food and beverage service eg: sequence of service etc
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Keen eye for detail
- Excellent people management skills
- Understanding of food safety principles
- Ability to work under pressure in a faced paced environment
- Ability to take on new challenges, take ownership of the success of the venue
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
