Our client is an Australian logistics company providing port cartage, container transport, and warehousing services across major capital cities.
Duties of the role:
* Afternoon shift - Shuttling containers between Chullora and the ports
* Conducting pre-start inspections
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight time frames
* Complying to Work Health and Safety (WHS) and other operational procedures
* Pre-check inspection before setting off on deliveries
* Maintain vehicle in a clean and hygienic state
* Present any vehicle defect reports and report all hazards and injuries
* Adhere to Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Fatigue Management and Road Regulations
Requirements of the role:
* MC (Multi-Combination) Truck Driver's Licence with minimum 1 year truck driving experience
* Current MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card) Licence
* Experienced driving around the ports/wharves
* Physically fit
* Good attention to detail and high procedural compliance
* Have a good Driving Record
* Unlimited work rights in Australia
* Available for an immediate start
