About the Role
The role of Human Resource Advisor at Gold Coast Health is a key position that plays a critical part in the delivery of world-class healthcare services to the community.
As a Human Resource Advisor, you will be responsible for providing practical advice and guidance to internal clients on a broad range of contemporary human resource management issues. This will involve supporting the development, implementation and performance of human resource management initiatives, activities, strategies and actions.
You will also be responsible for managing sensitive, high-level information and knowledge in line with departmental and government policy. In addition, you will need to maintain an understanding of contemporary human resource management practices as well as relevant legislation, industrial agreements, policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the development, implementation and performance of human resource management initiatives, activities, strategies and actions
* Provide practical advice and guidance to internal clients on a broad range of contemporary human resource management issues
* Manage sensitive, high-level information and knowledge in line with departmental and government policy
* Maintain an understanding of contemporary human resource management practices as well as relevant legislation, industrial agreements, policies and procedures
About You
To be successful in this position, you will require:
* A relevant qualification in Human Resource or a related field (while not mandatory, it would be highly regarded)
* Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
* Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (Gold Coast Health will cover the cost)

The Human Resource Business Partner team supports Divisions and Directorates within the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service. We provide a link to the various HR functions available within the Directorate of Human Resource Services and assist in the development of a high-performing, customer-focused team culture through human resource consultation, advice and support.
We also provide assistance in creating and implementing people management strategies to assist all managers and leaders.
