Reporting to the Head of Laboratory Services, this national role is critical in enhancing and standardising Boral's Laboratory Quality Management System across multiple states. You'll be responsible for driving quality improvement initiatives, managing accreditation processes, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across our laboratories.
Your day will involve:
* Lead the implementation of common reporting frameworks, audit schedules, and digital quality systems across national labs.
* Be the primary contact for NATA and oversee external client audits and accreditation requirements.
* Support Quality Officers across QLD, VIC & NSW, facilitating audit close-outs and cross-site learnings.
* Review and revise SOPs and work instructions, improving lab workflows and turnaround times.
* Manage and communicate changes to the Laboratory Quality Manual (LQM) and ensure organisation-wide understanding and compliance.
* Champion continuous improvement through process reviews, risk assessments and change initiatives.
What are we looking for?
* 10+ years' experience in QA, particularly within laboratory or technical environments.
* Proven expertise in managing quality systems aligned to ISO standards and industry accreditations.
* Strong audit and compliance capability across complex, multi-site operations.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills – both written and verbal.
* Change management and digital transformation experience.
* Proficiency in QA software, document control platforms, and executive reporting.
