**Job Title:** Hospitality Service Assistant
About the Role
We are seeking a hospitality service assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering effective support to the hospitality function within the care home, including catering, cleaning and laundry.
This is a part-time role with shifts from 4pm-7:30pm. We are looking for someone who is available to work during this time.
Responsibilities
* Maintain legislated workplace health and safety, quality and hygiene standards
* Complete required documentation and reporting
* Respond to residents' queries and requests
* Loading washers & dryers, sorting linen, hanging, folding, wrapping or ironing linen
* Assisting with basic food prep, providing meals and snacks, clearing dining areas and dishwashing
* General cleaning; mopping, vacuuming, and waste collection in the residents' rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areas
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous catering / food service or cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
You will also need to have an understanding of work health, safety and hygiene practices and the ability to work unsupervised.
