About the Role
: Our client is looking for an experienced and tenured Assistant Restaurant Manager. You will be a crucial part of the leadership team along side another Assistant Manager and working closely with the Restaurant Manager. The Assistant Restaurant Manager should be an experienced all rounder who is hands on and prepared to work all areas of the restaurant. Lead restaurant operations in order to maximise operating efficiencyManaging and overseeing SupervisorsManaging and overseeing Front of house, kitchen and all facets of the businessAssist RM with day to day tasks including Operative and training Aligning and engaging a team of 65-75 staff. Training and developmentLeading from the front in Hospitality excellenceDevelop and maintain a superior level of product, service and hospitality standards to ensure theUltimate level of guest satisfactionMonitor and achieve all sales and KPI goalsMaximise profitRestaurant administrationCleanliness of the restaurant, equipment maintenance and compliance with all local legislation including OH&S, RSA and Licensee responsibilities.Ensure that all checklists and systems are completed, managed, and documented in line with the businesses standards, policies and procedures on all shifts Ideal Skills/ Attributes Successful completion of year 12 or equivalent is essential, tertiary certificate qualification in hospitality or related field preferred. Current RSA, First Aid, Food Safety, Approved Manager (Licensee)Qualification or the ability to obtain is essentialMinimum one year as a shift manager in a high volume restaurantMinimum one year experience as a manager with P&L and reporting skills.A natural Leader who motivated and encourages the team to achieve results the right way. Previous food safety experienceTime management and prioritisation. Strong skills in recruitment, training and development, verbal and interpersonal skills, problem solving, computer knowledge including Google Drive, POS, Email, Word, Excel etc...Operating in a fast casual environment involves physical activity on most shifts including: Bending and lifting routinely on shift. Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. Remaining in a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods.
