Diagnostic Laboratory Scientist Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Diagnostic Specialist to join our diagnostic team. As a member of our close-knit collaborative group, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and timely diagnostic testing services.
This is a 10-month parental leave contract with shifts scheduled from Monday to Saturday. While this role is offered on a full-time basis, we are open to considering part-time arrangements for the right candidate.
In this role, you'll work alongside a supportive team of scientists, technicians, and pathologists, contributing to the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and timely diagnostic testing services for our reference laboratories. You will apply your expertise in blood science investigations, exercising sound professional judgment in the interpretation, verification, and validation of laboratory analyses and test results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless diagnostic workflow and exceptional patient care
* Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative diagnostic solutions
* Collaborate with colleagues to improve laboratory processes and optimize efficiency
Requirements:
* You will be an experienced veterinary scientist who is familiar with a diagnostic laboratory workflow
* You will have Haematology experience (desired)
* You will have exposure to Chemistry, Patient Sample Management, Urinalysis or Parasitology
* You will have a strong attention to detail and an ability to multi-task
* You will have experience with complex troubleshooting
* You will be an overall team player with a positive attitude
