Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Computer Technician to join our team. This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and helping customers with their tech needs. You will work on a range of devices, including computers, phones, and tablets.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair desktop and laptop computers
* Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
* Perform upgrades, installations, and system setups
* Repair mobile phones and tablets, including screen and battery replacements
* Provide basic data recovery and backup solutions
* Test devices after repair to ensure full function
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace
* Communicate clearly with customers about issues and repair options
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience in computer repair and troubleshooting
* Strong knowledge of Windows and common software systems
* Familiarity with phone and tablet repairs
* Ability to diagnose faults quickly and accurately
* Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred (Not Required)
* Experience with soldering (seen as an advantage)
* Knowledge of networking basics
* Previous work in a repair shop or similar environment
