Our client is in search of experienced CNC Mill and Lathe Setters/Operators to join our vibrant manufacturing team. As part of our high-paced machine shop, you'll be working with state-of-the-art modern machines such as Mori Seiki and Kitamura.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Proficiently set up and operate multiple CNC Mills and Lathes in a high-mix, low-volume batch production environment.
- Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T with skill.
- Work precisely with both metric and imperial measurements.
- Conduct inspections to ensure that first-off and in-process components adhere to drawing specifications.
- Analyse and interpret CMM reports to implement necessary adjustments in machine settings.
- Prioritize maintaining product quality while improving productivity and efficiency to meet delivery schedules.
- Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper upkeep of machines and work areas.
- Adhere consistently to WHS policies and procedures.
**Technical Requirements**:
- Trade qualification.
- Extensive experience in CNC setting and operation.
- Capability to set up and operate CMM.
- Familiarity with Fanuc control.
- Flexibility in working both morning and afternoon shifts.

- Competence in using various precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometres, and various types of gauges.
- Reliability, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively within a workshop team with mínimal supervision.
