Working with an organisation in Altona, we are looking for an experienced end to end payroll officer to join the team on a 4 day per week part time permanent basis.
This role would suit someone with 2-4 years of experience running complex end to end payroll processes over several different EBA's and a person who is passionate about payroll and growing their skills in this field.

The role:
* Effectively processing end to end payroll across weekly, fortnightly and monthly pay runs
* Facilitating payroll adjustments for salary increments, setting up new hires, calculation and processing of termination payment and other deductions
* Assist with month end process and reconciliations, including information for superannuation, payroll tax and workcover payments
* Attending to payroll queries in a timely manner and assisting with any payroll projects that are happening in the payroll department
* Provide timely, accurate payroll advice and support to employees and managers.
* Working across a large number of awards and EBAs, interpreting where appropriate
The right candidate will have:
* 2-4 years end to end payroll experience
* Experience processing pay runs of over 300 employees
* Experience using any larger well-known payroll system, e.g SAP, Chris21, ADP, Preceda, PayGlobal etc
* Experience using multiple awards and the ability to interpret multiple EBAs
* A passion for payroll and a want to learn and grow your skillset
* High attention to detail and accuracy skills
* Great communication skills and the ability to form good internal relationships
* Intermediate to advanced excel skills
The company:
* Located in Altona, with parking onsite
* Part time - 4 days per week with 1 day of this working from home
* Flexibility - for an early or later start/finish
* Salary depending on experience between $85,000-$90,000 + super pro rata
* Great training provided on all systems and processes
