Team
Our Explosive Ordnance Services team supports the Australian Defence Force through storage, distribution, maintenance and disposal of systems across Australia. With 17+ depots nationwide, you'll gain a holistic understanding of our logistics operations and growth opportunities.
Your Role
This role is an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Officer / Inventory Coordinator to join our team at our Orchard Hills site. You will manage inventory functions by operating our stock control computer system, while providing great customer service to the Australian Defence Force (ADF).
Responsibilities
* Ensure accurate operation of electronic and manual inventory stock management systems
* Instruct and train staff to maintain quality standards
* Plan and control work activities, including resource allocation and time management
* Maintain all technical publications relevant to the Inventory Office operation
* Build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients
* Demonstrate a personal commitment to health and safety
Qualifications & Experience
* Relevant experience in a similar environment
* Excellent communication skills at all levels
* Knowledge of inventory management systems desirable
* Experience within the Defence and/or Logistics environment highly advantageous
