Your mission
As a Merchandiser you will report to the District Sales Manager in the Sales organization based in Queensland for a permanent contract.
In your role a Merchandiser you improve the profitable market penetration of the Wholesale segment by providing superior sales and stocklist support. You are responsible for the stock control within the Wholesale branches, this involves conducting regular stock counts and re-ordering any products.
Your responsibilities
* Arrange stock in the Wholesale branches to attract maximum attention and visual appeal
* Ensure that the Wholesalers is kept up to date on product releases and catalogues
* Gains feedback from representatives and wholesalers to better merchandising strategies and participate in product promotions
* Promote the profitable marketing of company products/ services, developing customer relationships through the application of selling skills
* Answers product/ electrical queries to best of knowledge, if in doubt referring to local Technical Sales Representative
* Ascertains competitor activity and other relevant information and reports this information to management
* Ensures that all customers and users are given effective product kowledge training
* Prepares regular reports on business calls and related activities including complaints and questions in regard to products and sales trends

* First experiences in the Sales environment and with Wholesalers
* Ability to motivate the teamd and to develop a feeling of ownership of the company projects
* Willingness to learn on regular basis to keep your technical knowledge up-to-date
* Organization skills and resource management
* Strong communication skills and the ability to influence people to act in the group's interest
* Customer-orientation and understanding of their perspective
* Adapatbility, creativity and innovation to develop imaginative solutions in business situations
