The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and adaptable person to join the Trade Credit & Surety business unit. The role of a Senior Claims Assessor will see you taking responsibility for the prompt and fair assessment of claims.

You will be reporting directly into the Service Manager - Trade Credit and working within a supportive and dedicated team.

Your new role
* Process claims in a timely and compliant manner
* Conduct all written and verbal communications with clients
* Maintain a customer service focus when managing a difficult situation
* Support the implementation of the Claims strategy
* Maintain all files, systems and databases to ensure that they accurately represent the Claim Management process
* Share information with the team on competitor customer activity and market issues
* Provide team support/training to the team and contribute to a professional and cohesive approach to meeting QBE and customer expectations

About You

We are looking for a driven and motivated individual who is commercially minded and solution focused.
* Insolvency background or Claims experience ideally business claims
* Experience dealing with brokers is highly regarded
* Strong experience in a customer-focused role
* Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
* Strong analytical skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to effectively communicate with clients
* Team player with collaborative mindset and a high level of resilience
* Take accountability and ownership of tasks acting with integrity despite pressures and challenges
