Our client, a major player in community and disability services is seeking a Contract Finance Director for immediate start on a short term contract.
About the Role
Stepping in as the organisation's senior finance leader, the Head of Finance will shape and drive all financial operations, sustainability and performance. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Leadership Team, this role oversees a capable finance and technology group while providing strategic guidance across budgeting, forecasting, reporting, governance and compliance. You'll lead the integrity of financial systems, NDIS claiming processes, audits, payroll, procurement, contract management and organisational performance reporting. Beyond the numbers, this role plays a pivotal part in organisational strategy — improving systems, strengthening capability, supporting service delivery, and ensuring the organisation remains financially strong, future‑focused and operationally effective.
About You
You're a qualified CPA or CA with deep experience leading finance functions in complex environments, ideally with exposure to the nonprofit or NDIS sectors. Your background spans financial modelling, forecasting, governance, risk, digital systems and process improvement, and you're known for your ability to navigate change with clarity and confidence. You bring emotional intelligence, strong communication skills and a collaborative leadership style that inspires teams and builds capability across an organisation. With a sharp strategic mind and a hands‑on approach, you thrive in environments where you can streamline processes, challenge the status quo, strengthen systems and partner with leaders to drive sustainable growth and operational excellence.
