We are looking for someone equally confident in crafting amazing front-end experiences in React and React Native and building back-end services in Node.js
You'll attend our office in Mascot at the outset to discuss the concept and present your portfolio. The role starts casually at 1 day per week, with the intention to scale to part-time and then full-time as the workload grows.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the full development lifecycle of immersive mapping applications, from concept to production, working closely with senior developers and the broader project team.
What you'll do
Designing and developing full-stack features across React, React Native and Node.js.
Building clean, reusable UI components and well-structured APIs.
Working closely with the project team, technical team and our partners at Mappedin.
Integrating data sources (e.g., venues, tenants, events) and maintaining content.
Collaborating with product and design teams to deliver an exceptional user experience.
What you'll bring
React, React Native, Node.js, TypeScript, GitHub.
Experience working on app building.
Expertise in utilising multiple CMS interactions.
Demonstrated experience with mapping/3D/visualisation libraries.
Portfolio of interactive projects (preferably kiosks or installations).
Solid grasp of performance optimisation and debugging.
Clear communication and the ability to work independently.
Meaningful, visible work used by real visitors on-site.
Flexible ramp-up from 1 day/week ? part-time ? full-time as the project scales.
