Job Opportunity for Quality Assurance Professional
The position of QA Technician represents an excellent opportunity for proactive and detail-oriented individuals with a background in food science or quality assurance within the food manufacturing environment.
As a QA Technician, you will report directly to the Laboratory Supervisor and play a vital role in ensuring product quality and compliance. This includes performing routine quality assurance tests following company quality procedures and the Quality Program Manual.
* Conducting critical control point verification checks is essential to this role.
* Accurate entry of QA data into SAP and maintenance of digital records are key responsibilities.
* Raising and following up on non-conformances and block stock processes are integral tasks.
* Conducting temperature checks and supporting shelf-life validation programs are significant contributions.
* Performing water and air plate testing as required demonstrates technical capabilities.
* Maintaining cleanliness and calibration of laboratory equipment ensures high standards.
* Supporting Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and collaborating closely with production staff enhances operational efficiency.

About You:
* A diploma or degree in food science (or equivalent relevant laboratory/industry experience) is required.
* Prior experience in a food manufacturing QA or laboratory setting is highly valued.

* Knowledge of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and food safety standards is essential.
* Proficiency with Windows-based systems and prior SAP experience (highly regarded) facilitate efficient data management.
