About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Receptionist to join our diverse, compassionate, and dedicated team in the Cardiac Centre Lenah Valley. This role requires someone who can provide effective, efficient administrative support and customer service in a busy healthcare setting.


Key Responsibilities

* Providing Excellent Customer Service: Ensure that patients, VMOs, and families receive exceptional care and attention from our team.
* Outpatient Appointment Bookings: Manage and coordinate appointments for outpatients, ensuring seamless communication with staff and clients.
* Hospital Procedure Bookings: Arrange and schedule hospital procedures, guaranteeing timely and efficient delivery of services.
* Outpatient & Inpatient Billing: Process and manage billing for outpatient and inpatient services, maintaining accurate records and adhering to financial guidelines.
* Management of Medical Records: Maintain and update patient medical records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to strict data protection policies.


Requirements

* Medical Reception/ Administration Experience: Possess a strong background in medical reception or administration, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
* Excellent Customer Service Skills: Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
* Personal Integrity: Exhibit a high level of personal integrity, ensuring the confidentiality and security of patient information at all times.
* Organisational Skills: Display exceptional organisational abilities, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Flexibility: Be willing to work flexible hours, including holiday relief and sick cover, as required by the team.
* Proficient IT Skills: Possess proficient knowledge and application of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), with the ability to learn new software systems quickly.
