About the Role
A growing boutique developer and builder also engaged in client‐side project management consultancy is looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator, Assistant Project Manager or Site Engineer to take on the role of Assistant Project Manager. The position involves working on a wide range of residential, townhouse, apartment, industrial and commercial projects across the Brisbane City Fringe, from smaller projects up to $20m+.
Responsibilities
* Client management and consultation
* Project planning and feasibility studies
* Risk management and value engineering
* Design management
* Procurement of construction services
* Delivery and cost control of construction services, including cost reporting and superintendent duties
* Commissioning and post‐contract duties for handover
Qualifications and Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
* Experience on residential/accommodation building projects
* End‐to‐end project management experience on building projects preferred
* Leadership skills and strategic thinking ability
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Previous client‐side project management experience is ideal
