As a Feed Mill Operator at our Lismore feed mill, you will be working in a close-knit team committed to delivering quality feed mixes that meet farmers' needs and care for their livestock and animals.
This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career in manufacturing or agriculture. No prior experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided, along with support to obtain your forklift license if required.
About the Job:
* Assist in safely and efficiently operating feed mill equipment and machinery.
* Carry out batching, mixing, bagging, and loading activities.
* Maintain high-quality standards to ensure consistent, premium animal nutrition products are delivered to customers.
* Follow and adhere to Feedsafe processes, procedures, and reporting requirements.
* Operate forklifts (training/licensing will be provided if necessary).
* Complete routine cleaning, housekeeping, and basic maintenance tasks.
* Support the production team to ensure daily manufacturing targets are met.
* Contribute to a positive safety culture and uphold Norco's Golden Safety Rules.
* Assist with inventory management, pest control, and receiving incoming goods.
What We Are Looking For:

* The ability to perform physical tasks safely.
* A team-focused mindset.
* Good attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
* A forklift license (beneficial but not essential – we can help you get one).
* Mechanical aptitude or previous experience in manufacturing, agriculture, or warehousing (highly regarded but not required).
