Remuneration
Package up to $156,253 – Base salary ranges from $90,177 to $137,861, plus leave loading and employer’s contribution to superannuation.
Position Summary
Crookwell High School is a comprehensive rural high school with approximately 200 students, including 18 Aboriginal students and 3 students with a language background other than English. The school employs 34 teaching and support staff and offers strong community ties, STEM excellence, and wellbeing initiatives.
Specific Selection Criteria
- Approval to teach Food Technology and preparedness to undertake VET teacher training in VHF – Hospitality-Food and Beverage, provided the qualification entry benchmark is met.
- Demonstrated capacity to work as an effective team member of a diverse faculty and a commitment to whole‑school programs.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, deliver quality differentiated teaching and learning programs that cater to the diverse learning needs and backgrounds of all students.
- Well‑developed interpersonal skills with the ability to establish positive working relationships with staff, students, and the community.
Conditions
Applicants seeking either permanent full‑time or permanent part‑time employment are encouraged to apply. If a permanent part‑time position (FTE 0.1–0.9) is required, the appointment will be offered at the desired FTE. • A Relocation Support Payment of $5,000 up to $8,000 will be available for eligible applicants.
• An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching chance.
