Administrative Assistant – Religious Education & Spirituality (RE&S;) – Permanent, Full Time

Responsibilities
- Deliver consistent, timely, accurate, high-level administration and office support to the RE&S; team, including diary and event management.
- Build and foster positive, team-oriented relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the Executive Assistant and Head RE&S.;
- Prioritise a diverse range of tasks that support events, operations, and projects undertaken by the RE&S; team.
- Process finance requests and payments such as invoices, reimbursements, and purchase orders.
- Exercise discretion, judgement, initiative, and confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
- Business Administration Diploma or Certificate IV or equivalent.
- Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) number.
- National Criminal History check clearance.
- Category A – Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead (willingness to work towards).
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Clear understanding of and commitment to Catholic education and the mission of the Church through Catholic schools.
- Strong organisation and coordination skills with the ability to liaise with various staff groups and stakeholders; experience coordinating meetings for management teams in a complex organisation.
- High attention to detail in file and office management; strong ICT skills including Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook diary management, and mail merge functionality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relationships within a team and with stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Commitment to confidentiality and privacy; ability to manage data in staff information databases.
- Initiative and problem-solving ability; capacity to self-direct and respond to supervision as required.
Employment Conditions
Salary is in accordance with the Catholic Schools Office, Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle Employees Enterprise Agreement 2019.
