We are seeking a passionate and experienced Marketing & Communications Manager to join Seed Heritage. Reporting to the GM of Marketing & Ecommerce, this role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evolving Seed Heritage's brand marketing plan. You will manage all aspects of PR, marketing, communications, and social media, ensuring the brand is consistently represented at the highest level. You will collaborate with internal teams and external agencies, providing insight and strategy to drive engagement and brand growth. This is a 12-month fixed term contract role.
The Role
* Develop and execute seasonal PR, marketing, and social media strategies that elevate the brand.
* Manage advertising, promotional campaigns, and budgets to drive business growth.
* Write and distribute press releases for new store openings, product launches, and campaigns.
* Oversee content creation and daily management of all social media channels.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with media, industry contacts, and PR agencies.
* Analyse and report on marketing campaign performance and social media engagement.
* Coordinate online marketing campaigns, website content, and email communications.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on brand initiatives.
* Plan and execute marketing activities for new store openings and retail centres.
* Lead cross-functional projects while maintaining the brand image across all touchpoints.
* On-site role 5-days per week, based in our St Kilda Road offices.
The Ideal Candidate
* A tertiary qualification or equivalent in Marketing, Public Relations, or related field (desirable)
* Minimum 5 years' experience in retail marketing/communications or similar role
* Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills
* Strong people management experience and ability to lead cross-functional teams
* Proficient in digital marketing tools, online platforms, and Microsoft Office
* High attention to detail, prioritisation skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Creative, proactive, and growth-oriented mindset
* Must hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
