We're looking for an experienced and values-driven Senior Commercial Manager to join our Commercial team in Sydney or Melbourne. In this role, you'll provide expert commercial leadership across high-value bids and post-contract work in support of our strategic growth. You'll work closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders to shape profitable and sustainable outcomes while managing commercial risk and driving best practice.
As a Senior Commercial Manager in the ASPAC team, you'll make a positive impact by:
* Leading the commercial strategy and solutions for major bids and contract opportunities
* Supporting post-contract performance, value optimisation, and risk management
* Developing and presenting robust pricing, risk and financial models
* Managing internal and external stakeholder engagement, including senior executives
* Mentoring and upskilling team members across commercial and finance functions
* Shaping Serco's approach to complex commercial opportunities and innovations

* Extensive experience leading commercial strategies in complex or large-scale bids
* Strong knowledge of government procurement and commercial risk management
* Excellent financial and analytical skills, including contract pricing and modelling
* Ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders and external partners
* A collaborative, inclusive leadership style with a commitment to continuous learning
* A degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business, or Law (CPA/CA/other qualifications desirable)
