About the Position:
The Retail Manager plays a pivotal leadership role within The Trustee for Harihar QLD Unit Trust, overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's daily operations to drive efficiency, profitability, and exceptional customer service. This full-time position involves managing staff, stock, finances, and compliance while implementing strategies to enhance sales and uphold the business's reputation as a trusted local dining option in Gympie.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily retail and restaurant operations to ensure efficiency, product quality, and compliance with company policies and standards.
* Recruit, train, supervise, and roster staff to maintain high levels of performance, productivity, and customer service.
* Ensure an excellent customer experience by addressing customer enquiries and complaints and monitoring service quality.
* Manage stock levels, including ordering supplies and coordinating with suppliers to ensure product availability and minimise wastage.
* Monitor sales performance, budgets, and cost control measures to support business profitability and operational efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations.
* Implement promotional activities and local marketing initiatives to increase sales and customer engagement.
* Maintain records and prepare operational and sales reports for management review.

Requirements:
