The Prevention and Recovery Care (PARC) service offers support to individuals with psychosocial disability, facilitating their transition from acute hospital settings or preventing admissions by providing additional assistance.
* Utilize knowledge gained from the broader Lived Experience perspective as a member of the LGBTIQA+ community to inform practice.
* Understand individuals holistically, considering intersections with alcohol and drug use, domestic violence, trauma, self-injury, suicide, culture, and other factors.
* Collaborate closely with the Relationships and Family Engagement worker to support family and carer roles through understanding concerns and providing information, education, and referrals.
* Assist service users in navigating systems and linking them to community agencies or support systems that address life impacts and barriers to full social, educational, and employment participation, as required.
