About the role
Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager and based out of our head offices in Barangaroo we are looking for an Accounts Receivable Team Leader. This newly created role will see you manage a small but dynamic team of 4. Key responsibilities include;
1. Managing the Collections and recoveries function, including all day past due collections, customer service, and recoveries for all Corporate BU’s.
2. Ensuring the team is compliant with collection strategy and prescribed collection interventions
3. Assisting the team where required to ensure daily worklists are completed and SLA’s are met
4. Providing timely cash flow projections and key management reporting to stakeholders
5. Managing all internal and external Audit requests
6. Lead, motivate and mentor team to meet assigned KPIs and SLAs
7. Maintain relationships and provide support to the Accounts Receivable Manager, Shared Services Leaders, and broader Finance Leadership.
8. Monitoring of key team and business metrics to ensure business success and optimised team output.
9. Identify areas of improvement, recommend, and facilitate process improvement initiatives
10. Ensure financials risks are identified, reported and remediated with a view to continuous business process improvement
About your experience
Our successful candidate will come to us with previous experience in an Accounts Receivables leadership role. Other key criteria for your success is;
11. Demonstrated people management and leadership experience
12. Demonstrated understanding of ACCC/ASIC, Trade Practices and Privacy Act.
13. Strong and empathetic approach to customer service
14. Experience with high volume, multi-system, multi-currency accounting and credit systems
15. Strong Microsoft software skills
16. High level written and verbal communication skills
17. Demonstrated process improvement experience & change management skills
18. Ability to challenge the status quo positively / continuous improvement mindset
