Plant Sales and Service Position
The role of a Plant Sales and Service person involves hands-on sales and customer service, along with plant consultation, scanning stock, processing payments, and liaising with suppliers.
The position requires general nursery duties including weeding, watering, merchandising, grounds maintenance, and using trade equipment.
This is a full-time role working a five-day roster from Monday to Friday, plus occasional weekend watering duties.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing high-level customer service skills with a proactive approach to solving queries.
* Following processes and responsibilities effectively.
* Having confident computer ability at intermediate standards.
* Exhibiting a positive work ethic and ability to work effectively both unsupervised and in a team environment.
* Having a passion for plants and knowledge of botanical plant identification and/or horticulture experience is highly desirable.
* Supervisory aspirations or experience.
* Effective communication across a varied group of individuals.
* Accountability for tasks with a sense of urgency and keen eye for detail.
The successful candidate must also be capable of performing regular heavy lifting tasks and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
