**About the Role**
BOQ is continuing to grow and transform to deliver on our strategic goals to be a multi-branded digital bank of the future To support our continued transformation, we require the very best talent to join our team.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Specialist to join our Procurement team.

In this role you will be responsible for supporting all activities in the procurement lifecycle including planning, sourcing, contract negotiation, contract management, stakeholder management, and supplier management. This includes performing analytical and administrative duties within the Procurement team, along with taking accountability for nominated portfolios focused on the ICT and professional services categories. This role will require you to draw upon your specialist skillset to identify and analyse procurement issues and develop options to swiftly resolve them.

The objective of the position is to support the delivery of procurement solutions, maximise value, manage risk, improve efficiencies, and achieve quality for the BOQ Group whilst ensuring process in support of procurement activities are ethical and equitable in accordance with BOQ probity policy.

**About you**
We are looking for an individual who loves all things Procurement and enjoys a challenge
Ideally you will bring expertise having worked previously in a similar role in a large complex organisation. Your ability to communicate, influence and build effective stakeholder relationships will be critical to your success in this role. You will be an analytical and commercially astute individual with first class interpersonal skills who enjoys ICT and/or professional services sourcing and the evolving nature of Procurement.

You will have experience in facilitating the assessment of procurement risks, supporting the review and refinement of business specifications to ensure they are adequately defined, undertaking and developing negotiation strategies and independently fulfilling contract management duties.
