DESCRIPTION
We are seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic workshop team based in our Bunbury workshop.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Deliver first-class service to our customers
* Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products
* Diagnose and repair Cummins engines
* Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
* Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues/incidents to the Supervisor
* Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, warranty claims, quality forms or business system input screens.
Responsibilities
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
* A valid WA driver's licence
* Australian working rights
* Mechanical trades qualification as Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Mobile Plant Mechanic or Light Vehicle with Heavy Diesel experience.
* Cummins experience is not required; however, engine experience is desirable
* Safety focused and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Qualifications
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
* Apprentice trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
* Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
* Locally valid driving permit (Preferred)
Experience:
* Minimum level of workshop experience required
* Basic knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
