With at least two vacancies arising due to directors reaching their maximum term, this is a significant opportunity to contribute to a values-led organisation delivering vital health and community services across Gippsland and parts of New South Wales.About LCHSLCHS is a not-for-profit provider of integrated health and community services, employing nearly 1,600 staff across seven directorates including aged care, disability, digital health, and primary health. The organisation is committed to ethical practice, innovation, and person-centred care that supports community wellbeing.The board is comprised of non-executive directors who work closely with the CEO to provide strategic oversight and ensure long-term sustainability. Directors are expected to uphold LCHS's values and contribute to a culture of integrity, collaboration, and high performance.The RoleLCHS are seeking directors with a strong alignment to their purpose and values, who can contribute constructively to board deliberations, performance oversight, and strategic guidanceThe successful candidates will bring: Board-level experience in digital transformation and/or change management, with a strong understanding of digital governance and innovation in health and community service settings. Commercial acumen and senior executive experiencein disability, aged care, and/or primary health, with the ability to provide strategic insight and financial oversight in complex service environments. A minimum ofthree years' board experience, with demonstrated knowledge of corporate governance frameworks. A strong alignment with LCHS's mission and values, and the interpersonal credibility to engage meaningfully with diverse stakeholders. A qualification from theAustralian Institute of Company Directors (AICD)orGovernance Institute of Australia (GIA)is preferred. Candidates must bebased in Victoria.
