The Learning and Teaching team in Library Academic Engagement Services supports academics and students in the development of academic literacy skills both face-to-face and virtually. You will work as part of a team that includes librarians, digital capability advisers and learning advisers providing high-level expertise in academic skills development.
**Job Description**:
In this role, you will support academics and students with workshops, consultations and other teaching and learning services. The ideal applicant will be innovative, open-minded, approachable, collaborative, and have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
**You will**:
- Work collaboratively to develop and deliver higher quality information literacy learning experiences through workshops, presentations, eLearning resources.
- Play a key role in the creation and delivery of learning resources and experiences and the integration of resources in online and blended learning environments.
- Support students individually to develop information literacy and research skills.
- Develop and maintain strong effective working relationships with stakeholders.
- Contribute to projects as required.
**What we can offer**
The full-time base salary is Hew Level 6 $85,287- $90,972. The total FTE package will be in the range $99,786 - $106,437 per annum.
**Qualifications**:
**About you**
- Hold a degree in library and information management, or significant progress towards a degree, or an equivalent combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
- Demonstrate strong client support for information and research skill development at University level.
- Experience in developing and teaching workshops online and face to face.
- Experience in eLearning resource creation.
- Develop and maintain strong effective working relationships with stakeholders.
- Be flexible and well organised and be able to work both independently and as part of a team in a rapidly changing work environment.
- Ability to engage in self-reflection for continuous professional growth and improvement.
- Experience in business discipline desirable, but not required.
