Primary Objective
The primary objective of the forklift driver is to perform general forklift duties required by production.
Key Responsibilities
Forklift duties
* Move pallets to the required area to be stored
* Emptying and condensing rubbish in bins
* Ensure pre-operational reports are completed on forklifts prior to operation
* Other general forklift duties as required
Quality
* Work in accordance with good manufacturing practices.
* Practice good hygiene & sanitation procedures.
* Contribute towards good housekeeping at all times
* Complete forms/ check sheets as directed.
OHS Systems
* Report any incidents/ accidents or near misses &/or hazards in a timely manner.
* Be diligent in adhering to safe work practices and company policies
* Take reasonable care of own and other employees health and safety
Production
* Work as directed by the teams management and in accordance with Company policies, procedures and work instructions
* Responsibilities as defined by the Hazeldene's Processing Collective Agreement
* Cooperate with continuous improvement initiatives
