System Analyst/Service Designer Role
This role is pivotal in the delivery and solution design of digital solutions, new experiences, and improved outcomes for stakeholders.
A Federal Government Department requires a skilled System Analyst/Service Designer to contribute to the delivery and solution design of digital solutions. The successful candidate will secure a 12-month contract with two extension options and a rewarding hourly rate.
* Leading and planning end-to-end service design engagements and supporting product owners and non-technical Subject Matter Experts to translate service blueprints into work packages for delivery teams
* Working as part of a multidisciplinary team and communicating effectively, managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders; including IT delivery team members, Product Owners, policy experts, and executives
* Understanding and articulating how services need to change to meet user, business, and government needs, including service blueprint creation
* Defining key metrics and measurements for evaluating impact, supporting executive use of data to iterate solutions delivered
To be successful in this role, the System Analyst/Service Designer must have experience leading a product management approach to elicit, analyze, define, and document current and future state business requirements for designing and developing digital solutions.
The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience working in Agile and with the Commonwealth Digital Service Standard, including relevant work experience delivering design and research activities and industry artifacts like service blueprints.
The successful candidate will develop a suite of User Stories, Epics, and Features by collaborating with business owners and IT delivery teams.
