We're on the lookout for a commercially minded, data‐driven analyst who loves turning numbers into insights and insights into business outcomes. As a Finance Commercial Analyst at Flight Centre Travel Group, you'll play a key role in supporting strategic decision‐making, improving profitability, and uncovering opportunities that drive value across our business.

• Support commercial decisions that improve profit performance and return on investment.
• Build and enhance reporting frameworks that align with business needs and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop commercial models, financial scenarios, and value‐add insights for key initiatives.
• Deliver monthly performance reporting, KPI tracking, and cash‐flow analysis.
• Monitor contract performance and store‐network investment reporting.
• Provide ad‐hoc commercial support including risk identification, data extraction, analytics, and value‐add project work. Leverage AI tools to streamline reporting, automate repetitive analysis and free up capacity for higher‐value commercial work.

You'll collaborate closely with teams across Finance, Data, Group Reporting, and Risk, as well as external customers, suppliers, and auditors.

You're an energetic, customer‐centric finance professional who thrives in a fast‐paced environment. You enjoy working with large datasets, uncovering commercial opportunities, and simplifying complex information for stakeholders. You'll be expected to embrace AI and emerging technology to reshape how commercial analysis is delivered – not just using the tools but helping define how the team works with them.

• 3+ years' experience in an analytical or reporting role
• Strong commercial thinking and problem‐solving capability
• Proficiency in Power BI or similar data‐visualisation tools
• A Bachelor of Business or relevant degree (Accounting or Finance)
• Experience using Power Query/Data Brick and advanced Excel skills
• High ownership, attention to detail, and strong storytelling/presentation skills
• CPA/CA qualifications are highly regarded (or relevant finance and accounting experience)

• Ability to manage competing priorities and perform under pressure
