This Industry leading Psychological service provider is seeking a motivated and confident Senior Psychologist or Rehabilitation Counsellor to join their dedicated Newcastle team. You will benefit from the support of a highly collaborative and expert team that is dedicated to both your success and the recovery of clients. This role will see you provide return to work services in same employer, new employer, and other corporate health schemes. Provide positive psychology strategies that are evidence based and cutting edge to work towards the best outcome for your client.
In your role, you will be supported by a team with a range of skills such a Vocational Assessment expert, Employment Consultants and other professionals who are dedicated to completed LMA's. The client caliber is extremely corporate including law firms and banks.
The Role: Diverse and Empowering
- Assist clients with a range of mental health presentations both from a workplace sustained psychological injury or from a non-workplace related psychological illness that is impacting upon their professional life.
- Client centered and tailored approach to ensure the best outcome is achieved for all clients
- Medical Management services, case conferencing and case management
- Conduct assessments and develop individual rehabilitation plans to assist clients in return to work
- High-level report writing and liaison with relevant stakeholders
- Build your clients resilience through clinical counselling to aid their vocational journey

You: The perfect fit
- You will be a tertiary qualified in Psychology (full registration or provisional) or Rehabilitation Counselling (Membership with RCAA or ASORC)
- Excellent communication, time management and written skills
- A passion for providing quality and client-centered rehabilitation services
- Experience in workplace rehabilitation
- The ability to engage and establish rapport with professional clients
- Ability to work well with a team
