Head of Operations
Andromeda Robotics seeks a Head of Operations to own and scale the operational backbone of the company. The role begins with ensuring smooth, efficient, and reliable operations in a fast-moving startup and will grow into a global leadership role responsible for manufacturing, supply chain, and international distribution.
You will be the architect of operational excellence—translating strategy into scalable systems, building structures that support both creativity and rigor, and guiding the company from scrappy startup execution to world-class industrial performance.

The Role
We are seeking a Head of Operations who can own and scale the operational backbone of Andromeda Robotics. This role begins with ensuring smooth, efficient, and reliable operations across a fast-moving startup environment, but it will grow into a global leadership role responsible for manufacturing, supply chain, and international distribution.

Key Responsibilities
Phase 1 – Startup Operations (0-12 months):
* Lead the Office Relocation project from finding space to fitting out and opening our new digs
* Build and oversee core operational systems: Legal, compliance, and facilities
* Drive cross-functional execution, ensuring projects run on time, on budget, and aligned with company strategy
* Create metrics and dashboards to track company performance and resource allocation
* Partner with leadership to design scalable processes that reduce friction and enable growth
* Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and risk across key operational areas
* Establish strong cultural foundations through operational excellence and team enablement
* Collaborate on the initial build out of our first international office based in the US
Phase 2 – Scaling Manufacturing & Global Operations (12-24 months+):
* Lead the development of global supply chain strategy, including sourcing, manufacturing, and logistics
* Build operational infrastructure to support large-scale robotic production, from prototyping to high-volume manufacturing
* Oversee distribution networks, ensuring Andromeda's products reach global markets efficiently and cost-effectively
* Develop partnerships with international manufacturers, logistics providers, and regulatory bodies
* Implement quality assurance, compliance, and safety frameworks across production and distribution
* Drive operational innovation—leveraging automation, digital tools, and robotics within Andromeda's own systems
Requirements
About You
You are both a builder and a scaler. You thrive in chaos but are relentless in creating clarity. You can design a process on Monday, fix a supply chain bottleneck on Tuesday, and present a global manufacturing plan to the board on Wednesday.
Qualifications:
* 8+ years of experience in operations, with at least 3 years in leadership roles
* Proven track record in startup or high-growth environments
* Experience with manufacturing, supply chain, or distribution (hardware/robotics/technology industries a plus)
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to align operations with business goals
* Adept at building systems, processes, and teams from scratch
* Exceptional communication and leadership skills—able to influence across technical and non-technical teams
* Resilient, pragmatic, and energized by complex challenges
