This is a practical, workshop-based engineering position focused on product testing, validation, and test facility coordination. The role blends hands‐on physical testing in a lab/workshop setting with engineering analysis, structured test planning, and high‐quality documentation. It supports both new product development and ongoing improvement of existing products.
As a Test Engineer, you will work closely with the R&D team, help strengthen capability, structure, and discipline within the testing function while staying adaptable, pragmatic, and able to respond to shifting priorities.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform hands‐on product testing, including validation, endurance, and failure mode testing
* Design, build, modify, and maintain test jigs, fixtures, and setups
* Contribute to DFMEA, DVP&R, and detailed test plan development
* Investigate product failures and conduct root cause analysis
* Take a leading role in the day‐to‐day operation of the test lab, facility, and equipment
* Uphold safety standards, maintain excellent housekeeping, and apply 5S principles
* Coordinate with contractors and manage external testing activities

You'll Likely Bring
* An engineering qualification (preferred but not essential)

* Ability to balance structured processes with flexibility in a changing environment
* Proactive mindset with strong ownership and attention to detail
