OverviewJob Title: Arts Assessment ManagerCompany: Peritus RecruitmentLocation: Sydney CBDWorking conditions: HybridStart Date: ASAP pending clear Police Check + referencesEnd Date: October 10thPay Rate: $58.90 + superWork for an organisation that is focused on growing and supporting the arts, culture and creative industries in NSW for everyone to enjoy.ResponsibilitiesManage the effective and productive end-to-end administration and information management of Artform Assessment Panels including the register of peer assessors and Conflict of Interest management.Provide advice and contribute to the establishment of Artform Assessment Panels ensuring the appropriate make-up of panels and artform to ensure delivery of effective and transparent assessment processes.Ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance with the NSW Government's Grants Administration Guide, including confidentiality, Terms of Reference and other assessment panel matters.Work across teams including Arts Funding and Development, Key Arts Organisations, Research and Evaluation and Grant Operations to establish meeting schedules, papers and logistics for the Artform Assessment Panels.Support and contribute to the grant decisions and allocation process and the development and implementation of tools, resources and information.Promptly and appropriately respond to requests for information regarding funding assessment process and decisions and resolve or refer complaints regarding funding assessment process.Provide cogent, credible advice and support regarding funding assessment process and administration, to manage risks and optimise outcomes.Prepare reports of outcomes from Artform Assessment Panel deliberations for the Director Arts, Chief Executive, Secretary, Minister and Government.Key knowledge and experienceEstablished knowledge of the arts and cultural sectorAdvanced stakeholder engagement skills within an arts and cultural environmentExpertise in grant administration and understanding of NSW policy frameworksEssential requirementsExperience in grants management process within Government.Relevant tertiary qualifications - or significant equivalent experience in high level stakeholder management and engagement in a complex environment is desirable.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionArt/CreativeIndustriesStaffing and Recruiting
