We are currently looking for a Town Planner to undertake the role requirements below.ResponsibilitiesUndertake preliminary reviews of proposals including analysis of partial/full planning approval triggersCommunicate with colleagues, clients, stakeholders and relevant statutory authorities in both written and oral formReview of proposals and provision of town planning advice; preparation of planning reviews, feasibility reports, planning reports, etc.Prepare and lodge town planning applications to various statutory authorities around Australia including management of applicable RFIsFollow up on projects/applications and keep colleagues and clients updated on progressMaintenance and updating of spreadsheets for job tracking purposesPrepare accurate and descriptive fee proposals for clients as necessaryRetain costing information and advise accounts of applicable invoicing amountsReview and research various levels of legislationQualifications / Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and able to manage multiple projects independently while also working collaboratively within a small team.
A client-focused attitude, adaptability across a range of residential and commercial projects, and a genuine interest in contributing to a growing consultancy are essential.
