Description
* Manage the end-to-end bid process, from initial client brief through to final submission.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, sales, and project teams) to gather technical inputs and develop compelling, compliant proposals.
* Coordinate timelines, documentation, and deliverables to ensure on-time and accurate bid submissions.
* Support project kick-off and early-stage execution, ensuring a smooth transition from bid to delivery.
* Develop and maintain project plans, including key milestones, timelines, and interdependencies.
* Facilitate internal bid and project meetings, capture minutes, and track actions to completion.
* Maintain a library of bid documentation, templates, and case studies to support future submissions.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of bid and project coordination processes.
Profile
A successful Bid Engineer should have:
* Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
* Proven experience in special purpose machinery, capital equipment, or complex mechanical systems.
* Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
* Highly organised with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
