Catering Assistant – Casual
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking friendly and reliable casual catering assistants to join our Hospitality Services team at The Bays Hospital in Mornington.
This role is vital in supporting our patient's wellbeing by delivering nutritious meals in a caring, timely and professional manner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Plating and serving meals and beverages according to dietary requirements
· Delivering and collecting patient trays
· Assisting with basic food preparation
· Dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of kitchen areas
· Conduct routine recording of food and fridge temperatures in line with procedures.
· Complying with Food Safety/HACCP, OH&S; and internal policies
ABOUT YOU:
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills, experience and attributes:
· Be willing to attain a Food Handlers Certificate
· Strong customer service and communication
· Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings
· A team player who is reliable, proactive and values driven
· Demonstrated alignment with our ICARE values – Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence.
