**Role Description**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Person in Charge (PIC) to join a global operator for a 12-month contract. The key purpose of this position is to operate the facility/operational site including associated utilities, safely and effectively in accordance with best industry practice, statutory requirements and Management System(s), policy and procedures
**Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage site operations in accordance with the Safety Management System
- Deliver nominated on-specification products to customers as per agreed contract and production schedules.
- Supervise the facility/operational site and prioritise work to meet short and long-term objectives and manage and plan all site maintenance activities accordingly.
- Monitor facility/operational site performance and implement a continuous improvement culture.
- Understanding of expenditure within defined budget.
- Ensure adequate levels of consumable and strategic spare parts for the facility/operational site are maintained through site and Perth support staff.
- Communicate and report daily to management and external customers as required.
- Oversee care and maintenance requirements for non-operational sites.
- Oversee the site training requirements of all Personnel.
- Site management of the Perth Basin Computerized Maintenance Management System
- Assist with development and execution of the weekly and 90-day maintenance plans for Perth Basin Facilities.
- Collect and collate relevant maintenance data for reports.
- Liaise and supervise site contractors.
- Assist in the training, assessment and development of site personnel.
- Participate in Well site handover requirements to support managed well intervention activities
- Plan and execute site implementation of capital ECR's in conjunction with the Perth based maintenance and facilities engineers.
**Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in the hydrocarbon industry or related chemical processing industry operations, with focus on gas processing.
- Experienced in implementing HSEQ management systems.
- Maintenance planning and execution experience
- Cert 4 or above in Process Plant Operations
- WA Driver's License
- PMAWHS311 Lead Emergency Teams (or equivalent)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE40116 (or equivalent) desirable
- Experience in budget control.
- Understanding of Major Hazards Facility and Safety Case legislation
- Knowledge of Environmental Plans, Compliance and Reporting requirements.
- Knowledge of Integrated Management Systems.
- Good process, mechanical, instrument and electrical aptitude.
- Oil and Gas Industry standards.
- Ability to manage effectively in a small team environment.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings and data.
- Good communication, personal and interpersonal skills
**General HSE Responsibilities

- Not engage in an activity that requires a certificate unless the relevant certificate or permit is held.
- Not attempt any task unless they are capable and competent to carry out that task.
- Except for an approved maintenance or repair procedure, must not interfere with, remove, displace or make ineffective any safeguard, safety device, equipment or appliance provided for HSE purposes.
