Hamilton Barnes is currently partnered with a well established Managed Services Provider based in Norwest, Sydney that is looking to hire a Senior Systems Engineer with a strong background in Microsoft project delivery.
This is an opportunity to join a mature MSP and support a broad customer base ranging from SMB through to enterprise environments with 1000+ users.
The role is heavily project focused, sitting at roughly 80% projects / 20% senior L3 support. They are specifically looking for someone who can genuinely own and deliver projects end to end, rather than simply assisting senior engineers.
Projects will involve:
* Microsoft 365 deployments and migrations
* Intune and Entra ID implementations
* SharePoint and Exchange Online migrations
The ideal background:
* Strong Microsoft cloud and infrastructure experience
* MSP experience preferred
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to operate independently in customer environments
Core technologies:
* Microsoft 365
* Active Directory
* SharePoint
* Exchange Online
Additional exposure to networking, firewalls, wireless technologies and tools such as Datto, or Autotask would be highly beneficial.
