Key Role: Site Health & Safety Coordinator at Aldoga Solar Farm
We are seeking an experienced Site Health & Safety Coordinator to join our team at the Aldoga Solar Farm. As a key player, you will ensure the safety and well-being of our team by implementing HSE Management Plans, conducting site inspections, and maintaining high safety standards.
Job Description:
* Implement and Support Site HSE Management Plans: You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting site-specific HSE Management Plans to ensure a safe working environment.
* Conduct Site Inspections, Risk Workshops, and Safety Inductions: Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety inductions to identify potential hazards and provide guidance on safe working practices.
* Monitor Contractor Activities and Ensure Compliance: Oversee contractor activities and ensure they comply with safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
* Develop and Present Toolbox Materials and Participate in HSE Meetings: Create and present toolbox talks, training sessions, and other materials to promote a culture of safety within the team. Participate in regular HSE meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and areas for improvement.
* Support Incident Investigations and Safety Audits: Assist in investigating incidents, analyzing root causes, and implementing corrective actions to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. Participate in regular safety audits to identify areas for improvement and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Competencies:
* 5+ Years of HSE Experience: You must have at least 5 years of experience in health, safety, and environment (HSE) roles, specifically in high-risk construction environments such as civil works, high-voltage electrical, and solar farms.
* Diploma in OHS/Environment: A diploma in occupational health and safety (OHS) or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
* ICAM Training and Practical Application: You should have completed ICAM (Incident Cause Analysis and Mapping) training and have practical experience applying its principles.
* Strong Communication, Report Writing, and IT Skills: Excellent communication, report writing, and IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
* Valid Driver's License and Flexibility to Travel: A valid driver's license and flexibility to travel to various sites are essential for this role.
