Business Development Role
This position requires a skilled professional to execute the Pacific Investment Solutions Sales Strategy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities across the for-purpose sector, with the aim of ongoing growth of Funds under Management.
Key responsibilities include working alongside the Investment Solutions Sales Lead in the Pacific, maintaining a pipeline of opportunities, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
Additional duties include developing sales strategies, executing targeted sales actions, and preparing persuasive sales presentations.
* Develop and execute a pipeline to align with annual revenue targets.
* Identify and cultivate prospects, initiate and follow up on new opportunities.
* Lead business meetings and close sales to institutional investors.
* Ensure best practice business development activities including client identification, opportunity origination and solution design.
* Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
* Prepare and deliver sales presentations.
* Engage and collaborate across teams to develop value propositions.
* Collaborate with product teams to develop tailored solutions.
* Track and report on sales performance metrics.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent sales and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep understanding of the for-purpose sector. They should also have experience supporting senior management in a distribution environment and be able to analyze and interpret market trends.
