- Part-Time role
- Get to know the local residents and their likes / dislikes
- Positively impact the lives of Australia’s most vulnerable
THE POSITION
- Prepare, cook and serve meals in line with procedures
- Apply catering control principles; food safety, waste minimisation and cleaning
- Responsible for maintaining food safety documents
- Slightly modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (reduce salt, remove dairy)
- Experiment with recipes and suggest current ingredients
THE PERSON
- Knowledge of food hygiene & workplace health & safety protocols
- Excellent time management, organisational, communication skills
- Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery (or another Chef qualification)
- Police Check holder (or be willing to obtain a police check)
- Availability: Every Friday 9:30 to 5:30
- Every Saturday 9:30 to 5:30
- Every Sunday 9:30 to 5:30
- One weekday 6:30 to 2:30
