Your Impact:
As an APS6 level Network Engineer, you'll be instrumental in designing, implementing, and supporting cloud and on-premises network infrastructure. This includes projects in LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, cloud connectivity, and Zero Trust architectures. You'll collaborate with architects, developers, and support teams to drive secure, reliable, and scalable solutions in a fast-moving ICT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement secure cloud and on-prem network architectures (Azure/AWS)
* Support CI/CD environments and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) pipelines
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and network issues
* Document systems, workflows, and operational processes
* Contribute to change management and continuous improvement
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship within the team
* Implement Zero Trust Network Access and enhance security postures
* Collaborate across departments to deliver integrated solutions
What You'll Bring:
* Proven experience as a Network or Cloud Engineer in enterprise settings
* Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, cloud networking, and Wi-Fi principles
* Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and tools like Jira
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to prioritise and thrive in dynamic project environments
* Experience in documenting systems and mentoring junior team members
Desirable:
* Experience in government, disability, or social service environments
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and ITIL frameworks
* Relevant certifications: CCNA, CCNP, Azure, AWS, or DevOps
Eligibility:
* You must be an Australian Citizen
* Able to obtain and maintain a National Police Check
* NDIS Worker Screening Check may be required
