Power Systems Engineer – Outage Planning Role
This is a critical position in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the power systems in the Northern Territory.
The role fulfills the operations planning functions which determine the operational technical envelope for the Northern Territory power systems to ensure safe, reliable, secure, and economic operation.
* Conduct modelling studies for power system outage planning, major connections, and major events compliance reporting.
* Mentor team members, manage complex projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results that align with the business unit strategic direction.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in power system operations and planning, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement operational plans, reports, and assessments to ensure compliance with various Technical Codes.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives.
3. Provide guidance and support to team members.
