San Miguel Yamamura Australasia (SMYA) is an established leader in packaging and contract wine filling in Australia and New Zealand. We started as Cospak Pty Ltd over 50 years ago, and today the company is a joint venture between two packaging leaders,San Miguel Corporation of the Philippines andNihon Yamamura Glass of Japan. SMYA is headquartered in Sydney and is present in all the major states across Australia and Auckland, New Zealand.
SMYA, a collective packaging specialist, is composed of the synergies between:
1. Cospak Group (Delivering the market a One-Cospak packaging solution)
2. Vinocor (wine cork group)
3. SANECTOR (contract beverage bottling, packaging & distribution)
4. JMP Retail (retail packaging solutions)
In this position, you will report to the ICT Manager and will deliver 360 IT support to the entire SMYA group. What we are looking for is a team member that:
* Is passionate about helping our staff solve their IT challenges
* Is great at engaging and communicating with staff in non-technical speak
* Has pride in their work, is self-motivated and does whatever it takes to get the job done
* Has strong technical skills but continues to push themselves to expand their skillset
* Has strong time management skills to prioritise, control and ensure successful completion of tasks across the IT Team
Your key responsibilities would include:
* Provide technical support to the entire SMYA business
* Managing desktop and server infrastructure
* Controlling user and network security
* Disaster Recovery Solutions
* Creating and maintaining technical and process documentation
* Managing 3rd party suppliers to resolve issues
* Ad-hoc after hours work and inter-site travel as required
* Project work inclusive of liaison with parent company to ensure deployment and administration of infrastructure and ICT systems in line with global group
Skills and Experience required include:
* 3+ years' experience in medium to large size environments
* Completion of a diploma course, degree or IT Certification
* Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Technologies, including Windows Server (2008 and higher), Active Directory, Group Policies, Exchange Server, SQL Server, Remote Desktop Services, Windows (7 and higher), Microsoft Office 365 and Azure
* Sound working knowledge of networking technologies including VPN, Routing, Firewalls, VLAN, TCP/IP (4 and 6), DNS and DHCP
* Experience with VMware virtualisation technologies and cloud-based solutions
* Knowledge of backup technologies and strategies using Veeam Backup and Replication and StorageCraft Shadow Protect
* Tagalog speaking and experience collaborating with offshore teams
